Many thoughts

Things are going pretty well out here, the weather is great, work is alright, and that is how things go.

I have had a lot of thoughts about things in the past few months, about politics, about policy, about life in general.

I have noticed that, when big companies like automakers, banks, insurance companies, telecom providers, and various other, ask for government aid, it is considered good capitalism that will grow the 'economy.' But when regular people want more healthcare, school funding, police and fire protection, infrastructure, and thing tax money ought to be spent on, it is considered socialism.

All I know is, if the government giving big money to big corporations is capitalism, I want my tax money that was loaned to them back with interest...

Anyway, on more pleasant topics, I plan to go somewhere this weekend, just to break the string of doing essentially nothing.

In other good news, another friend of mine has switched to Ubuntu, and it seems to be working out really well.

I still haven't received those pictures of the church yet, so I can't post them, but rest assured, as soon as I have them they will be up!
